Well hey there, Bombshell!

I’m Saige Ryen: photographer, mixed-media artist, mommy of two, and unapologetic main character of my own story. I built Virtue + Venom for every woman who’s ever stared in the mirror and wondered where she disappeared to. Spoiler: she’s been here the whole damn time. And I know exactly how to bring her back into the light.

I’ve walked through fire: body dysmorphia, depression, postpartum collapse — the unraveling of everything I thought I was. Then I rebuilt. Through therapy, through art, through radical “holy-fuck-this-is-me” self-love. I stopped shrinking. I rose.

Today, I don’t just take pictures — I create spaces. Spaces where women don’t just look beautiful — they see their power, their magnetism, their divinity. I give you the perspective you’ve been missing.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with paint-splattered fingers, devouring romantasy and thrillers, or getting lost in a Spotify spiral that jumps from EDM to metal to rap faster than my toddler grabbing something she shouldn’t.

I live in Upstate SC with my husband (also a photographer) and our two feral children (ages 2 & 13—please pray for me). Forever a New Yorker at heart, Aquarius through and through — fire and flow live in me in equal measure.
